Yamaha reveal the X-Max 400
Yamaha revealed the new X-Max 400 scooter which is set to be available to purchase as of Autumn this year.
The scooter is set to be the most compact sports scooter in its class and Yamaha say that it’s performance, practicality and comfort is significantly better than previous and similar models.
So, what kind of changes can we expect from the new X-Max 400? Well firstly, the scooter is now Euro 4 compliant and keeps the same 400cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine. Moreover, riders can expect the scooter to produce around 33 bhp and 26 ftlb of torque. Furthermore, the bike is suitable for A2 licence holders and now weights 5kg less than before, which means in total it weighs 210 kg.
In addition, the X-Max 400 now comes with ABS and Traction Control as standard, while the handlebars are adjustable from two levels for your comfort. As always, there is plenty of room for storage as the scooter has the ability to carry two full face motorcycle helmets, or if you’d prefer, it can hold luggage for your weekend away.
The X-Max 400 has of course been updated with regards to design and styling, while it also gains a smart key for easy riding. Find out more about the new model here: Yamaha X-Max 400
