Yamaha MT-10 SP
Yamaha have published a superior version of the MT-10, set for release in 2017; the Yamaha MT-10 SP: Speed of Darkness, which is a sports production model. The motorcycle is available in a blue/silver colour arrangement, which fits perfectly with Yamaha’s theme entering the “Dark side of Japan”.
The new bike features some exciting new technical advances which differ from previous MT-10 models such as a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD Display, which is available in full colour and features wide-ranging information. Moreover, Yamaha are renowned for their extra tuned MotoGP suspension, but have opted for the Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS) for the special edition of the MT-10, which adapts to alternating riding conditions and provides ultimate levels of control. Additionally, the motorcycle embraces dual 320mm floating front disks with radical 4-pot piston calipers, which have been integrated into the bike to enhance braking power (ABS standard).
Other features incorporated by Yamaha include a Traction Control System to assure smooth riding, an Assist and Slipper clutch to provide control during acceleration and deceleration and LED twin headlights which offer a forceful appearance, contributing to the bikes efficiency.
