What to expect at the MCN London Motorcycle Show?

London Motorcycle Show

The MCN London Motorcycle Show is only a few weeks away now, so we thought we’d give you some information about what you can expect if you are attending the event.

Triumph Street Triple Launch

Firstly, one of the most exciting features at the show, and the one we’re looking forward to most, is the exclusive launch of the Triumph Street Triple. As well as presenting the bike for the first time live at the event, Triumph will be hosting a special presentation, along with a Q&A and a stunt show.

New Bikes

It wouldn’t be a Motorcycle event without a host of new bikes from some of the best manufacturers. So, it seems we can expect to see models from the likes of Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Honda, KTM, BMW, Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha, and many many more.

Now, although most of these bikes have made an appearance at numerous events worldwide, unless you attended Motorcycle Live in November, it will be the first time most of us here in the UK will come face to face with some of these stunning new models. So, that’s something to look forward to at least.

Live Features

The London show is going to be packed full of live features, including Slide, a live action show featuring some of the best riders such as John McGuinness and Troy Corser competing in a live action track race. The best news is, this is included in the price of your ticket. However, you’ll need to get in early to get a good viewing spot.

Other must see features

Classic Zone - View some amazing vintage motorcycles, some of which are expected to appear on stage for an extra special viewing. Moreover, if you are attending the event on Saturday 18th February, catch Coys Motorcycle Auction, where over 100 motorcycles will be auctioned, including some vintage Triumph and Ducati bikes.

Custom Zone - Here you can see some of the World’s best custom bikes, as the London Custom Bike Championship gets underway at the show, where some amazing prizes are up for grabs for the best designs.

Adventure Zone - The adventure zone features some travel inspiration for your next big adventure. Also attending are some inspirational UK travelers who can help you out with any questions you might have about road tripping by bike.

Sport and Performance Zone - Here you can see some of the latest race bikes and get some performance upgrades for your motorcycle.

Oh, and you better take some cash, as there will be plenty of exhibitors attending to help you pick some new kit, and maybe even a new bike.
