Triumph’s rise in profits
Triumph, who are the UK’s largest motorcycle manufacturer has posted a significant growth in sales and profits for 2016. It is understood that profits have increased from £8.7 million to £16.6 million and sales from 53,812 to 56,253. Pretty decent!
It has been said that this substantial increase is due to the company’s investment in research and development, supposedly having spent around £26.9 million.
However, investing in research and development has provided Triumph with the opportunity to expand product lines including the Street Cup and enhanced the Bonneville bikes. This has been particularly important as the Bonneville range is extremely popular and attracts more interest to the organisation.
In addition to this, Triumph has been working hard to increase sales internationally, particularly in Thailand and this have proven to be greatly successful.
It is no wonder we have been treated well with an astonishing number of new motorcycles for 2017.
We can’t wait to see what Triumph come up with this year!
