Suzuki’s Silverstone Track Day

Suzuki’s Silverstone Track Day

Suzuki return to Silverstone with their awesome track day which features a host of special guests including Sylvain Guintoli, Taylor Mackenzie, Richard Cooper, and Simon Crafar.

The event takes place on Monday 4th September in Silverstone’s Wing pit and paddock and allows Suzuki fans to ride on track and gain some advice and tips from the top Team Suzuki riders. Moreover, three-time British Superbike champion John Reynolds, who was involved in the development of the new Suzuki GSX-R1000, will be around for the day offering his expert advice on track riding and building on your skills.

Also in attendance at the event will be Barry Sheene’s son Freddie, who will be on board his dad’s world championship winning Suzuki XR14s, while track instructors James Whitham, Glen Richards, Dean Skipper, and Simon Crafar will also be around to provide some knowledge and advice.

Rob Cooper, UK Suzuki Marketing Manager stated that:

“We’re really excited to be going back to Silverstone for this year’s all-star track day, and it’s great to again be using the full GP layout; it’s one of the best circuits to ride in the world. But the best bit is always spending the day with customers, chatting with them in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and getting the chance to have a ride around with them on track. It’s also a great opportunity for us all to learn a thing or two about circuit riding from those that race Suzuki’s and instruct on GSX-R1000s for a living, hopefully making us all faster and safer on track. It’s going to be another great event and one we’re all really looking forward to.”

Places on the track day cost £199 and you will have the opportunity to book into one of three groups depending on your riding experience and skill level. All those attending the event will also receive a Suzuki gift bag.
