Some good news for Motorcyclists as registrations are at an all time high
It seems as though 2016 has been an extraordinary year for the Motorcycle industry as the number of registered motorcycles this year has seen a 12% increase from last year. These figures have been made available from the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA).
Interestingly, in 2015 around 114,160 motorcycles were registered, and at the end of November 2016, it was highlighted that 117,654 bikes had been registered this year.
Moreover, the most popular motorcycle of all registered owners is the Honda PCX125, with the CB125F following closely behind. Another favored model this year was recognised as the BMW R1200GS Adventure. In addition, it appears that over the last year, motorcycle owners have been opting for cheaper and less recognised brands rather than the bigger names such as Honda, Ducati and Yamaha.
Great news for riders!
