Repsol Honda reveals their 2017 RC213V
Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa have travelled all the way to Honda’s Indonesian Astra Factory for the unveiling of their new RC213V race bike for 2017. The problem with that was that the ‘new’ bike is actually very much unchanged, and there are very little differences for the 2017 version.
Most of us kind of expected that though didn’t we?
Nevertheless, both Marquez and Pedrosa were in high spirits, as they each stated how excited they were to visit Indonesia, as they have an extensive fan base there, with MotoGP being very popular. Marquez also stated that those who turned up to the event “were incredibly supportive and passionate” and that they would “do our best to give them a reason to celebrate”.
Both Marquez and Pedrosa are feeling very positive after winter testing, and are hoping to put in all the work that they can to take them to the top.
Pedrosa was especially excited to be at the official launch event, after missing out last year due to injuries. He also commented on the launch, stating that:
“Today we officially launched our 2017 season, which is always an exciting moment, even when you’ve already lived it many times. I feel good and I’m really looking forward to starting the new racing year. I’m also happy we came here for our team launch. Last October I wasn’t able to attend an event here due to an injury, and so many people from Indonesia showed me their support”.
We’re expecting good things from the Repsol Honda team this year.
