Taiwanese brand Kymco has filed a patent for a 650cc two cylinder naked motorcycle which bears resemblance to the Kawasaki ER-6n.

The patent drawings reveal many similarities in the engine, swingarm, exhaust and lateral monoshock with the Kawasaki ER-6n. The difference shows in the chassis and body frame.

The two companies have previously collaborated and produced the J300 & J125 scooter which were mainly inspired by the Kymco’s Downtown 300i and 125i models.

This new naked motorcycle would be Kymco's first proper motorcycle. There is no indication to when it will be in production or offered to the European import market yet.
