The new Honda SH125i scooter
Since the Honda SH125i scooter was out being tested by journalists for the first time this week, we thought it would be nice to remind you (or inform you if you aren’t aware) about some of the cool new tech specs for this year’s model.
Honda have worked hard at improving the styling of this year’s model, by creating a new shape and enhancing the riding position to improve comfort and control. The scooter features a fancy LED headlight and tail lights, so you won’t be missed on your city commute. In addition, you can expect an ABS braking system as standard which will ensure stability, as well as gaining a Smart key system which operates the ignition, seat lock and fuel cap.
Moreover, what’s great about this scooter is that it provides more storage space than you might think, in fact you can even fit your full-face helmet in the under-seat storage while you’re busy getting on with your daily tasks. Furthermore, like most bikes, you can now expect to find a 12V socket to charge up your phone, which will come in handy if you’re using your mobile as a sat nav.
The SH125i is available to purchase in four different colours, including the standard pearl splendor red, lucent silver metallic, pearl night star black and pearl cool white and is priced at £3,299. Additionally, the scooter utilises a single cylinder, liquid cooled 4-stroke engine which has a maximum power output of 8.98 kW at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
