A new concept electric motorcycle by Energica will be revealed at EICMA
Energica, the Italian Electric Motorcycle Company are set to display a new concept model at EICMA this month, which is the companies sixth year attending the motorcycle event.
The brand has provided limited details about the new concept, however have mentioned that it will be based on the current Ego and Eva models. When asked about the new concept, Energica stated that:
"it will be an evolution of styles and technologies already adopted in our models, bringing the most recent of the two-wheeled sports market trend".
The present Ego and Eva models currently produce 100kW of power (136 hp), 196 Nm of torque and reach a maximum speed of 150 mph, so we’re excited to find out if the new bikes will feature any changes.
The new concept is not the only news Energica plan on announcing at EICMA. The brand will expose a new colour for both the Ego and Eva, which is said to be Lunar White. Additionally, a preview of the new OZ wheels that were tested on an Energica motorbike will be launched for the first time, as well as providing us with more details on the companies ‘Value Plan’ where they are working on forming a partnership with utility companies in both the USA and Italy to improve the quality of chargers to 20kW.
After the success of electric bikes at Intermot, which seen a full hall dedicated to electric bikes, we are hopeful that we can expect the same at EICMA this year between 10th-13th November.
Energica can be found at Hall 14 E34 at EICMA.
