Moto GP: Jack Miller joins Pramac Ducati for 2018

It has been confirmed that Jack Miller will be joining Danilo Petrucci in the 2018 Moto GP season as part of the Pramac Ducati team. The news had been circling for a while now, so Ducati decided it was time to put the rumours to rest.

Apparently, Miller was keen to remain with the Marc VDS team, however, Ducati provided a better offer after a long wait to hear what equipment HRC (who deal with Marc VDS) would have to offer him and his former team.

Miller’s move to Pramac Ducati means Scott Redding will now be looking to join another team, while Marc VDS now have a position open. Could this space be reserved for Redding, or will he be left out in the cold? Redding is no stranger to the Marc VDS team as he was initially part of the team in his Moto2 days, so it’s a possibility that they may been keen to take him back. On the other hand, there have been rumours that Stefan Bradl could be joining the Marc VDS team.

Jack Miller is set to take on the Desmosedici GP17 at Pramac, and after a difficult ride on the Honda RC213V, it’ll be a nice change for the Australian.
