Introducing the Suzuki DL250 V-Strom
So, the original V-Strom debuted in 2002 and due to the success of the first, another was launched in 2004. Suzuki believed that 2017 was the right time for the bike to make a comeback, but with exciting new specifications and features that are suited to everyone.
The new small capacity model delivers increased power with low to mid-range torque. Riders can expect a 248-cc parallel twin engine, 24.7 bhp and is expected to reach 310 miles with a full fuel tank. In addition, the bike features a Bosch ABS system, a compact windscreen and rear luggage storage which has the ability to carry 8.5 kg.
Moreover, the motorcycle offers an LCD instrument display which provides the rider with an indication of speed, gear position, RPM, dual trip meters, fuel consumption, oil change meters and a clock. Furthermore, the rider’s seat has a height of 800 mm, the bike weighs a total of 190 kg and features a 12v socket for charging the likes of a smartphone.
Predictably, the 250 V-Strom carries the same ‘adventure DNA’ as the previous V-Strom bikes and features a practical design with rough body lines and a black and yellow colour scheme.
For those interested, the motorcycle is expected to appear in dealers at some point during Summer 2017.
