The insane Aston Martin Valkyrie
The incredible Aston Martin Valkyrie was unveiled at the London Motor Show at this beginning of this month which left thousands of attending visitors astonished.
The innovative hypercar was developed by both Aston Martin and Red Bull Technologies as they wanted to create something different that had never been seen before.
It has been said that just 150 of the Valkyrie models will be produced for lucky buyers around the world, who will need to fork out an astounding £2.5 million to get their hands on one.
According to a number of sources, the Valkyrie is set to produce 900 bhp and will utilise a Formula 1 inspired energy recovery system to harvest kinetic energy from braking. In addition, the traction control unit, engine control unit, and electronic stability programme systems will be provided by Bosch.
Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman has commented on the new car stating that:
“Aston Martin model names have deep meaning. They need to inspire and excite. To tell a story and enrich a narrative that stretches back some 104 years. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is an incredibly special car that demands an equally remarkable name; an uncompromising car that leaves nothing in reserve. The connotations of power and honour, of being chosen by the Gods are so evocative, and so pertinent to a car that only a fortunate few will ever experience.
The unbelievable new vehicle will not be available until 2019. However, I’m sure every single one of the 150 units will be sold out well before. That’s if they haven’t been sold already.
