India set to be KTM’s largest market in 2017

KTM India

KTM was first launched in India back in 2012, where they first introduced the KTM Duke 200, which was a great success. It has been said that KTM sold over 36,000 units in India alone last year, making them the firms second largest market.

However, having just launched the new KTM RC range, as well as the new Duke 250, many believe that the brand will be more popular than ever and the Indian market may reach the top position when it comes to sales targets.

Last year, the firm recorded a €1.14 billion revenue intake, which means they have high hopes of increasing the number of KTM dealers worldwide. In fact, KTM India have plans to increase the number of dealers to 500 by 2018. At the moment, KTM have around 325 dealers in India, so an increase to 500 is more than achievable if they continue growing the way they have been.
