Honda reveal 50th anniversary edition of the Monkey Bike
Honda have revealed the final version of the Monkey Bike, which is a 50th anniversary edition - the original was released back in 1967.
The 2017 Monkey Bike features a 49-cc air cooled, fuel injected engine which produces 3.4 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 3.4 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.
As you can see, the new model is pretty similar to the original, and features a red frame, swing-arm, and headlight. Moreover, Honda have opted for the same tartan seat, as well as adding a 50th anniversary logo on the back and main key.
It has been said that Honda are keen to sell around 1,800 of these bikes, which are priced at roughly £2,500. There is no news as of yet, whether or not these bikes will be sold in Europe. For now, they will be available to purchase in Japan.
