Nicky Hayden to stand in for Dani Pedrosa at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix
Nicky Hayden is set to stand in for Dani Pedrosa at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend, after Pedrosa’s injury in Motegi on Friday where he broke his collarbone. Hayden represented Jack Miller at the Aragon GP last month where he took a “points scoring finish” while Miller was injured. This weekend is set to see Hayden back riding for the Repsol Honda team in Australia for the first time since 2008 and the Honda World Superbike team the following weekend, together with Michael van der Mark for the World Superbike Championship season finale in Qatar.
It is not yet certain when Pedrosa will make a return, however, after successful surgery at the weekend we hope that he’ll make a comeback as soon as possible.
