Harley-Davidson’s 2017 Street Rod
Introducing Harley-Davidson’s new Street Rod for 2017. The new model utilises a 749-cc High Output Revolution X V-Twin engine producing 65 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm which is much more powerful than its predecessor.
With regards to new features, the bike gains drag style handlebars with mirrors on each end, as well as a colour matched speed screen and LED turn signals which suit the motorcycles urban styling. In addition, the bike doesn’t carry too much bodywork design, as the firm wanted to ensure the model was perfect for customisation. Moreover, in order to match the toned-down frame and bodywork, Harley have kept the blacked-out wheels for simplicity.
Furthermore, the Street Rod gains 43 mm inverted front forks, in addition to piggyback reservoir rear shocks helping you ride with ease. Also, you can expect dual disk front brakes and dual piston calipers along with ABS which significantly improve braking performance. Additionally, the Street Rod gains enhanced seating which is now 765 mm in height and ‘two-piece 2-up’ meaning it’s perfect for taking on a riding partner.
As we mentioned above, the Street Rod was made for customisation, so it only seems right that Harley-Davidson offer a wide variety of parts including Day maker LED Headlamps, Dark Custom Logos, Diamond Black Foot pegs, storage, handlebars, mirrors and much more, all to help you make your bike more suited to personal taste.
Prices for the new Harley start at £6,745, depending on which colour you choose. If you wish to find out more information visit: Harley-Davidson Street Rod
