Triumph specifically created 2 Thruxton R Bikes for the 'Essenza - The Essence of Motorcycles' at Glemseck 101 in Germany. The festival is full of motorheads who have a passion for customising their motorcycles and complete in drag races in a closed off area in the countryside near Stuttgart.

‘The White Bike’ was ridden by Carl Fogarty, (also known as Foggy) who happens to be Triumph's Global Ambassador. The White Bike looks more sportier compared to The Bulldog. It has a unique exhaust with a ‘MotoGP’ style swingarm. It has a custom instrumentation with an inbuilt boost gauge and Ohlins rear shock absorbers.

Christoph Lentsch, editor of the online German motorcycle magazine 1000PS rode the Bulldog. It has a retro street figure design which features a custom Speed Triple R intake fairing, to support the LED headlights. It also has a unique exhaust system with twin single pipes.
