Chinese manufacturers CF Moto have announced the release of the 650MT
Chinese manufacturers CF Moto have revealed the release of the new 650MT, we’re hoping early 2017. The 650MT is the third bike from the manufacturers which is based on a 650-cc engine and is an adventure motorcycle. Previous bikes from CF Moto the 650i and 650TR were touring and naked motorcycles.
In addition, the 650MT is of course Euro4 compliant and has been constructed around the swing arm and tubular steel frame, with as mentioned before, a water-cooled 650-cc twin engine, producing 71 hp at 8,750 rpm. Moreover, the motorcycle makes use of a Bosch EFI system which delivers a much more powerful and smooth ride.
Furthermore, the design which has been presented on the model is to offer an increasingly comfortable and thrilling ride, which is obvious with some of the additional features such as the adjustable seating options (820mm-840mm) and the adjustable front and rear suspension.
So, what else can we expect from the 650MT? Well, the manufacturers did states that some of their design features were taken from some of the bikes they created for KTM. On the other hand, that should be a good thing, right? The motorcycle carries 18 litres which isn’t great for an adventure bike but should offer an appropriate range. Additionally, the bike features ABS brakes, a USB port, auto LED lights and two additional riding modes; economy and sports. Of course, the bike displays an LCD dash which offers information on gears, fuel level, warning lights and speed.
Price is yet to be confirmed for the UK. However, we hope that it will be similar to the other models.
