Cardus wins Round Six of Spanish Pro Flat Track

Ferran Cardus wins Spanish Pro Flat Track round six in Valencia after fierce competition from Franc Serra. After a notoriously inadequate start, Cardus was eigth on the exit on lap one, whilst Nico Terrol, Oliver Brindley and Franc Serra took the lead. However, with three remaining laps to go, Cardus had caught up with Serra in an attempt to get a wheel inside, although Serra had him covered. It was only at the beginning of the final lap which saw Cardus take the lead, whilst Terrol remained in third place.

With only one race to go: ConÍl de la Frontera on 5th November 2016, Cardus remains 16 points ahead of Serra, while Terrol sits 25 points behind.

The AMA Pro Racing has stated that they will invite the winner of the Spanish Pro Flat Track Championship to join the 2017 Daytona TT.
