BMW’s new System 7 Carbon Helmet

BMW have introduced the new System 7 Carbon helmet, which according to BMW has been ‘made for pure riding pleasure’. The new helmet shell is made from 100% Carbon fibre technology, something which BMW have utilised on many previous models. However, the brand has managed to condense the weight by around 25%, making the helmet much lighter and safer for its users.

What’s particularly special about this helmet, is that the brand have incorporated two helmets into one, meaning the rider can alternate from a full face helmet to a jet helmet by unlocking two buttons at the chin guard (which is also removable). Excellent!!

Some other exciting features presented in the System 7 Carbon helmet are the adjustable sun shield, which is accessible as a visor when in jet form. In addition, the helmet carries a great ventilation system and a standard double visor, providing a strong view at all times.

Moreover, the new model offers an outstanding communications system which is available in both versions of the helmet, allowing the rider to connect to Bluetooth through their smartphone to make phone calls and listen to music, even when operating a navigation system.

Fingers crossed we get a closer look at EICMA and Motorcycle Live!
