Yesterday, BMW Motorrad revealed that a number of bikes would be receiving an updated colour scheme and accessories for 2018, most of which can be ordered from local dealers from August 2017.

One of the first models gaining a fresh update is the BMW R1200 GS Adventure which will be available in brand-new colours, Racing Red, Light White/Cordoba Blue, Black Storm Metallic/Dark Slate Metallic Matt/Achat Grey. Some of the accessories available for the updated model are Emergency Call, Connectivity, various pro riding modes, keyless ride, High Rallye seat, and LED auxiliary headlights.

When it comes to the R1200 RT, the model will be available in Mars Red Metallic/Dark Slate Metallic and Carbon Black Metallic, while now offering ABS Pro, Emergency Call, Dynamic Traction Control, and the RT logo imprinted on the seat.

As of August, the BMW R 1200 R can be purchased in Iced Chocolate Metallic, the R 1200 RS in Frozen Bronze Metallic/Black Storm Metallic, the C 650 Sport in Austin Yellow Metallic, and the C 650 GT in Ocean Blue Metallic Matt.

Moreover, the BMW S 1000 XR will be available in new Motorsport colours, Light White/Racing Blue Metallic/Racing Red and will now come with a pro seat with stitched XR logo, while the S 1000 RR will gain an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust system. This can be purchased from October 2017.

Finally, the BMW K1600 GT, K 1600 GTL and the K 1600 B will all receive LED auxiliary headlights and special paint finishes.
