BMW reveal the new G310GS

So, we’ve already told you about the new R nineT Urban G/S, but that’s not the only bike that has been released at EICMA this week from BMW.

Meet the new G310GS!

The manufacturers new low engine capacity adventure bike from the GS family is a real treat, and this style of bike has caught the attention of a much wider audience in recent years.

The stunning new model features a 313-cc liquid cooled engine which produces 34 bhp, as well as providing long travel suspension.

When making the new bike, it is clear that BMW has taken inspiration from the R1200GS, as the headlamp, fuel tank and front beak resemble similar features, yet have been reworked.

Moreover, with a six-speed gearbox the motorcycle is guaranteed to produce more power than you might think carrying a hefty rev of 10,500 rpm. The bike offers ABS as standard, a seat height of 835 mm, which can be adjusted through additional accessories which allow the seat to sit at 820 mm or 850 mm, as well as featuring a complete LCD dash.

Furthermore, BMW have created some optional accessories which can be purchased to fit and personalise your bike, including heated handle grips, 12 v socket, supplementary luggage storage, a navigation system, smartphone solutions and of course the seating options as mentioned above.

The price is yet to be confirmed. However, we presume it will be similar to that of the R model which is priced at around £4290.
