Aprilia team all set for MotoGP
The Aprilia MotoGP team- Sam Lowes and Aleix Espargaro, have finally unveiled the new machine for this year’s championship. We weren’t really sure what to expect from Aprilia with the new 2017 model. However, we must admit, it’s a lot nicer than last years and the new team looks stronger than ever.
With only one pre-season test left before the championship begins, both Lowes and Espargaro are said to be raring to go and are pleased with their new bikes. It seems that only a few last-minute changes need to be made before the season begins, so things are looking good for the team.
Sam Lowes stated that: “At the minute we’re still working to understand the bike, but at the Qatar test I’ll use the new one for the first time. The problems or issues I had in Phillip Island once I was on a not bad pace were all issues that the new bike should fix. The engine is quite smooth, but we still need a little more in the lower part for it to be a little more linear. It’s going in a good way though, and the bike is really quite fast once it gets going”.
