Another new AGV helmet for 2017; the Corsa R

AGV Corsa R

AGV were extremely busy at EICMA this year. Firstly, we told you that the brand had introduced the K-5 S, but that’s not all, the Corsa R was also revealed. The main purpose of this helmet is for track racing and providing the greatest level of performance.

Similarly, the new version of the full face Corsa R is not yet available in the UK and prices will start from £549.99. Unlike the K-5 S, there will only be 10 different styles available in the Corsa R. Although, we must say, they look great.

The Corsa R offers similar features to that of the Pista GP R and offers a lightweight, carbon fibre glass shell, just like the K-5 S, as well as adjustable vents.

Moreover, the new helmet features a brand-new interior which is much smoother and provides a better fit for its users. The Corsa R provides increased impact protection as well as enhanced field of vision. Another additional feature, which we believe every helmet should provide is the visor locking mechanism, which reduces the risk of the visor opening in an accident.

It is very likely that the helmets will be released around Spring 2017, just like the K-5 S.
