The all-new Ducati SuperSport

Ducati have released their brand new bike, The SuperSport, which is set to make an appearance at Intermot tomorrow. The bike is elegant, sporty and designed to suit everyone, with the hope of bringing the excitement of sport into all aspects of riding, including urban and touring.

The SuperSport uses a plexiglass screen which enables the perfect protection when riding at higher speeds and is also adjustable up to 50mm. A Testastrella 11 937cc engine, 133 hp at 9000rpm and a torque of 9.86kgm at 6500rpm are incorporated into the bike which comes with a Ducati Safety Pack including bosch 9MP ABS and traction control which enhances riding performance.

If that’s not all, the bike offers some exciting features, designed specifically for comfort and relaxation, with the seat being placed on an ergonomic triangle, 810mm from the ground to allow the rider to easily reach the ground and for freedom of movement. The motorcycles display provides information on the bikes engine, ABS and consumption, as well as allowing the rider to select personalized riding modes and manage music from their smartphone. The bikes image is immediately sharpened by the daytime running light which utilises LED technology ensuring visibility at all times. Ducati have combined elements from previous sports bikes such as the single-sided swing arm, sculpted tank and tail piece which adds efficiency.

The SuperSport is expected to arrive mid-2017. However, keep your eyes peeled on our website for further updates.
