Australian patents have let the cat out of the bag as it has been confirmed that there is a new 2017 Suzkuzi GSX-R250.

Suzkuzi aims to target the small-displacement sportbike motorcycle market with the new GSX-R250. Suzuki hope to be more successful with this entry level motorcycle compared to their Inazuma which was discontinued due to the high price and falling sales.

According to the design patent, it is powered by a 248cc parallel-Twin engine which gives 25-30 BHP of maximal power. It also seems to have a single disc rotor and a telescopic fork. The bike could have a newly developed swing-arm with ABS disc brakes on wheels and with luxury premium tyres.

All the features of the GSX-R250 are still not known but it is expected to premiere at Intermot in October or EICMA in November.
